Our billing and collection policies are consistent with our mission and values. We treat all patients with dignity and respect from the bedside to the billing office. We recognize the difficulty unexpected medical problems can cause to your finances and we can help patients seek medical benefits from federal, state and hospital programs.
There are often options and assistance for those who are uninsured or underinsured. We want to assist you in finding resources that may help pay your hospital bill. If you have any questions about your ability to pay or about available assistance programs, please let us know. We work with each patient to help meet their needs and circumstances.
In order to provide our community with state of the art care that is also cost effective, Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center has an obligation to collect for services rendered in a timely and efficient manner. Patients or their guarantors will be responsible for the total charges incurred. As a courtesy to our patients, we will bill insurance companies if proper documentation is received at the time of service.
